About Mandy…

I began my career in advertising in 1999, was competitive and did very well for myself.  Then in 2009, during the recession, I was one of 2000 employees who were laid off from Clear Channel Radio one Friday morning in January. So I decided to take my severance pay and start my own advertising agency. After a very tough year, business was finally starting to sprout again.  It wasn’t long before I had clients and a steady income again.  And for the next 12 years my business continued to grow and was very profitable.  Until…COVID!  Oh man, did that just kill my business almost overnight, but what was interesting about that was that once I released the fear and worry about what I was going to do and what was going to happen, I realized I didn’t even want to do that job anymore. I had ZERO desire to try to find new clients.  But now what?  It was all I knew.  It’s all I’ve ever done my entire adult life! Then I had a thought…Spiritual Retreats. I had mentioned it to my daughter who thought it was a great idea, but then I quickly dismissed it as silly.  I just need to get back to what I know and find new clients.  But I still could not get myself to do it.  Spirit tapped me on the shoulder again and whispered a little louder…retreats.

Ok, now I’m listening! I mentioned the idea to a couple of friends. I swear the moment I spoke the words out loud to a couple of people, it manifested immediately! Like the universe threw a bucket of retreat right in my face. As if spirit said thank you, you’re finally listening! HERE YOU GO. Instantly, I was aligned with the perfect people and circumstances. So here I am, the proud and excited owner of Soul Star Journeys. I would have never believed it if someone would have shown me two years ago what my life was going to look like today. What an amazing, exciting journey life is. I have discovered what really lights me up! I am all about community now; bringing people together in love and acceptance and connecting people with the amazing healers I have been blessed to know and work with. I am just so thrilled to bring everyone along on this amazing journey.
